This fantastic event will be partnered with BBC Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales bringing tremendous professional championship boxing featuring the three nations established and up and coming champions and contenders and prospects.
The main event will see Belfast’s exciting young featherweight Colm “The Posh Boy” Murphy make the first defence of his Commonwealth Silver Featherweight title, a title he won in June 2024 in a ten round pulsating battle with Scotland’s Jack Turner.
Murphy from the Malone Road hails an unblemished CV of thirteen straight wins including the Irish & Celtic titles propelling himself to a top one hundred world ranking.
The “Co Main” event will feature John “The Kid” Cooney who also makes his maiden defence of the British Boxing Board of Control Celtic Super Featherweight Title against the talented Nathan Howells of Newport, Wales.
Cooney undefeated in eleven contests won the championship on the Katey Taylor v Chantel Cameron rematch at the 3 Arena in Dublin last year against Liam Gaynor in a devastating first round knockout victory cementing himself as one of the most exciting young fighters on the up.
Tommy McCarthy the former European Cruiserweight Champion returns and looks to get himself back into world title contention when he continues his comeback trail after taking time out to focus on his prospering stand up comedy adventure.
Undefeated Dungannon lightweight Charles McDonagh features on his home debut.
