Get ready for a tale as old as time as Beauty and the Beast returns to the Waterfront Studio, Belfast for this year's family pantomime from 22 November 2024 to 12 January 2025!
From the same creative team that brought you last year’s smash hit Rapunzel. Get Ready for the magical return of GBL Production’s Beauty and the Beast .
It may be a tale as old as time but expect this one served up with an energetic, laugh out loud Waterfront Panto twist. Get ready for plenty of fun, a sprinkling of magic and a soundtrack of all the latest hits in a family pantomime to warm you up even on the coldest winters day.
Starring GBL’s Panto Princess Jo Johnston as Belle and the wonderful Keith Lynch as the Beast, we also see the return of Brendan Mageean as our Dazzling Dame and Waterfront favourites Sarah Reid and Warren McCook alongside Lucy McIlwaine and Sophie Patterson who make their Waterfront Panto debut.
The kids adore the chaos, they are up dancing, waving, booing, shouting and singing along – Belfast Times
Can Belle save the day before the last rose petal falls? Join our heroine as she tries to break the Wicked Fairy’s curse and escape the castle of the ‘monstrous’ Beast… but is he really as bad as he seems? There’s Talking Teapots, Singing Candlesticks, Dancing Dogs and a bunch of Wily Wolves to deal with but with your help can Belle REVERSE THE CURSE?
Be prepared to make some noise, sing, shout, Boo and cheer as you meet the usual cast of colourful characters all under the watchful eye and sharp tongue of our larger than life Panto Dame. With music from Katie Richardson, moves by Paula O Reilly and directed by the magnificent Chris Robinson, this is not one to be missed.
