Assumption Grammar returns on 09 March 2025 to Ulster Hall, Belfast for it's annual concert
Another feast of music from the girls of Assumption Grammar School in Ballynahinch, Co. Down. This is a showcase for the specialist music school, which boasts a rich tradition of instrumental and vocal excellence including awards from ‘Music for Youth’, a performance at the Schools Prom in the Royal Albert Hall in London and a visit to New York in 2024 where they took part in the St. Patricks Day Parade and performed at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
The girls will present a programme which includes a huge range of musical styles to accommodate all tastes, including orchestral music by Haydn, jazz by Charlie Parker, traditional music, songs from ‘Frozen’ and as a finale, a performance of Coldplay’s ‘Viva la Vida’ by over 300 musicians. A treat for music fans of all ages and backgrounds!
