What’s the easiest way to get the Waterfront Hall?
The Waterfront Hall is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk of the city centre. We are located nearby Lanyon Place train station in Belfast within a five-minute walking distance.
The nearest bus station is the Laganside Bus Centre, which is approx. two minutes’ walk from the Waterfront Hall. There is a bus stop on Oxford Street, directly outside the building which accommodates on the main Glider routes in Belfast.

Please note that travel to the Waterfront Hall may be impacted due to changes to bus and train routes as a result of the ongoing Belfast Grand Central Station project. For more information, please visit Translink.
We advise allowing extra travel time when visiting our venue.
Where can I park?
The Waterfront Hall is situated in the city centre with both on-street parking and car parks available. Nearby car parks include:
- Lanyon Place (prebook available to avoid queues)
- Oxford Street
- Montgomery Street
All car parks are independently owned and operated by external companies. Whilst these are open for most events, there may be times when some car parks are unavailable.

When does the venue open?
The venue opening hours will be displayed on the event pages along with show times, where available.
What time should I arrive at?
We recommend arriving 30-60 minutes before the start time to give you plenty of time to relax before the show and enjoy your evening. If you are attending a concert, we advise allowing additional time as security procedures may be stricter and take a longer time.
What time does the event start and end at?
All running times will be updated on the event page when they become available. Please note that due to the nature of live entertainment, running times may vary but we will always be as accurate as possible.
What do I do if I am late?
In some cases, we may have to ask you to wait for a suitable break in the performance before we can allow you to take your seats. Occasionally this can mean waiting until the interval, if there is one.
Can I purchase food and drink at the venue?
Each of our bars located at the Waterfront Hall are filled with an array of locally sourced food and beverage items including a wide selection of chilled soft drinks, confectionery, snacks and alcoholic beverages to suit every taste;
- Selection of locally sourced craft and bottled beers
- Wide range of both local and international spirits and mixers
- A selection of draught beers
- Choose from any of our small or large wine bottle offerings with various grape varieties
- A wide range of soft drinks including Deep RiverRock still and sparkling water
- Freshly ground Johnsons coffee
- Selection of Barry's tea
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Only food and drink that has been purchased on the premise can be taken into the venues. Management reserve the right to dispose of any food or drink brought to the venue.
Is there a dress code?
We do not have a formal dress code policy. If an event has a requirement, this will be advised at the time of booking and made known on the individual event page.
Are there any cloakroom facilities?
There are no cloakroom facilities in the venue. Please note that bags larger than a laptop bag may not be permitted into the venue, this is for security and to ensure the safety of all of our customers.
What do I do if I’ve lost an item?
If you have lost an item, please contact us and we will be in touch to confirm if it was handed in.
