An exciting new digital entertainment experience, Live from the Ulster Hall, launches this week.
The new, innovative digital event experience is proudly supported by The Arts Council for Northern Ireland and the Department for Communities. Through this investment the iconic venue enters a new era and the Ulster Hall stage is alive for the first time since March with the sound of homegrown musicians.
Audiences throughout Northern Ireland and beyond will be able to enjoy these performances from the safety and comfort of their own homes.
The Ulster Hall are delighted to welcome back Ryan McMullan. Although the atmosphere and buzz from a live audience is incomparable, Ryan is thrilled to be back performing for all his fans who can continue to enjoy his live sessions via this new platform.
‘The Ulster Hall is the Mecca of Northern Irish venues and to get to play here again, albeit without a crowd, will be like a balm soothing my soul after the year our industry has had. I’m overjoyed and so excited for the show.‘ – Ryan Mc Mullan
Ashleigh Davidson, Head of Entertainment and Exhibitions at Waterfront Hall and Ulster Hall commented on the launch:
“We are excited to be launching our brand-new entertainment experience, Live from the Ulster Hall. Every session has been recorded and facilitated with social distancing measures in place and throughout the planning process, we took all the necessary precautions to ensure the safest possible experience for both our team and the artist.”
Live from the Ulster Hall is testament to the team and the venue's resilience and commitment to bringing the best of live entertainment back to Belfast. The new digital entertainment experience will provide a first-class service, to which ticket holders can access exclusive content by live streaming each artist’s session.
Ryan McMullan’s gig is the first of a lineup of incredible home-grown heroes to be announced. Tickets will be priced at £15 and go on-sale at 10am on Monday 30 November.
The Ulster Hall team look forward to the day they can welcome live audiences back safely, when they will once again set the stage so that people can continue to create their #IWasThereWhen moments, but for now they present to you, Live from the Ulster Hall.
